The Theater is fully ADA accessible, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating. We also offer closed captioning and hearing assistive devices for movies shown in the State Theater. Please ask our staff if you need assistance—we’re here to help!

The Ely Public Library is showing “Wicked” the movie at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, November 7.
Rated PG. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

See the first “Wicked” at the library and ready for the new theatrical release of “Wicked: For Good,” which will open Friday, November 21, 2025, at Ely’s Historic State Theater.

NOTE: Due to problems with the distribution company, we will be unable to play the movie “Sarah’s Oil” as advertised starting on November 7, 2025. Instead, we will be showing the movie “Good Fortune” starting on November 7, 2025.
