Ely’s Historic State Theater cultivates a vibrant, healthy community by providing accessible and inclusive entertainment, educational experiences, and a welcoming gathering space.

The Theater is fully ADA accessible, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating. We also offer closed captioning and hearing assistive devices for movies shown in the State Theater. Please ask our staff if you need assistance—we’re here to help!

NOTE: We will be doing an encore showing of “Springsteen” on Wednesday, November 12, at 6 p.m.

NOTE: Due to problems with the distribution company, we will be unable to play the movie “Sarah’s Oil” as advertised starting on November 7, 2025. Instead, we will be showing the movie “Good Fortune” starting on November 7, 2025.
