Synopsis: On January 12, 1995 wolves returned to Yellowstone, 50 years after their extirpation. Mollie Beattie, director of the US Fish and Wildlife Service, carried the first Canadian born wolf into The Park’s experimental acclimation enclosure, Alpha Female Wolf No. 5. From that day forward, their lives would be forever connected. This is the true story of Mollie’s Pack and the return of wolves to the World’s First National Park.
Directors Bio: Tom is an EMMY® award winning filmmaker and the founder of Grizzly Creek Films, an independent production company headquartered in Montana. Tom and his team have created original series and documentary films for National Geographic, The Smithsonian Channel, Hulu and PBS.
In 2019, Tom and Grizzly Creek Films produced the critically acclaimed feature documentary, REWIND. Rewind premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and went on to screen at BFI London, The International Rome Film Festival, Traverse City Films Festival and many more.
The editor of the Mollie’s Pack, Avela Grenier, perviously edited REWIND and was awarded Special Jury Recognition for editing at the Tribeca Film Festival.
